A special welcome and thank you in Christ to all who are sharing their culture at Mass with us this weekend.
For this 103rd World Migrant and Refugee Day, Pope Francis has chosen the theme of “Child Migrants, the Vulnerable and the Voiceless.” The Holy Father gives us this reminder:
“ ‘Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me, but him who sent me.’ With these words, the Evangelists remind the Christian community of Jesus’ teaching, which both inspires and challenges . . . Do not tire of courageously living the Gospel, which calls you to recognise and welcome the Lord Jesus among the smallest and most vulnerable.”
